Insurance Planning Director
Ben services clients in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. He specializes in risk management and estate planning. He is a 2005 graduate of Minnesota State – Mankato, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with an emphasis on Financial Planning. Along with his FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses, Ben also holds his Life Insurance license and Long-Term Care certification. Ben’s responsibilities include researching market and economic trends, as well as finding suitable solutions for estate liquidity. Ben is motivated by working alongside his clients to truly understand the goals, objectives and values they want to pursue, and legacy they want to leave behind. Ben loves spending time with his wife Rebecca, and three children Brayden, Berkleigh and Bristol. He keeps busy with the various activities of an active young family. During the summer months Ben enjoys coaching baseball, camping and fishing, and during the winter months can be found at the hockey rink or in the gym watching gymnastics.

Anne services clients in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. She specializes in life, long-term care and disability insurance. Anne holds her Life-Health and Property-Casualty License and has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Anne’s passion is meeting with her clients and finding the right insurance products to fit their needs. Prior to joining Ascent Financial, she worked for AgStar (Compeer) Financial, Heartland Mutual Insurance Company and other insurance agencies. After living in the Minneapolis Area for 10 years, Anne and her husband Jim moved back to the Adrian area, where they raised their three sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, bicycling, remodeling/flipping homes and traveling with her husband.

Michael services clients in eastern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. He enjoys helping people reach financial security and life goals. He is committed to the successful achievement of client’s personalized goals and brings careful attention to the details that really matter to his clients. Continual education and training are a top priority – he recently completed his MBA and attends regular training covering new strategies and law changes that affect people’s financial well-being. Arnold is also very active in the community. He serves as a Trustee for Winona State University Foundation whose main focus is to grow the endowment fund and to provide scholarships for incoming students.
Sean was born and raised in Stillwater, Minnesota and graduated in 2006 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Marketing. Sean married in 2013; he and his wife have a two-year-old son named Miles and a one-year-old daughter named Isla. Sean worked in mortgage lending and mortgage fraud auditing before becoming an insurance advisor with Cludy Family Insurance Agency in 2015. Sean resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin and services clients in southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Sean was a member of the Panthers track and field team as a college student and still roots for his favorite sports teams, including the Milwaukee Brewers.
Tyler services clients in the North Central Minnesota area. He graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2011. Tyler has been working in the Insurance and Employee Benefits industry for 8 years. He Specializes in working with Life, Health, Dental and Voluntary Benefits. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with family and friends, hunting, fishing and baseball.

Sally is the owner of Bruch Financial Advisors in Sycamore and has worked in the DeKalb/Sycamore area since 1974. Sally stays busy within the community by serving on a variety of Boards and Committees, including the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce, Sycamore Rotary Club and the Kirkland United Methodist Church. Sally has lived in the Kirkland community since the age of five. She and her husband John live on the family farm where they grow corn and soybeans. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, horseback riding, riding her motorcycle, traveling and training their Australian Shepherd, Rotor, as a trick dog. (Level 5)

Paul is a financial advisor with over 15 years of experience and is securities registered in the States of AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI. Paul focuses on the idea that financial planning cannot be just about money, but how each part of your life (family, community, faith, and financial) interconnects.
Paul graduated from the Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Finance. After graduating from college, Paul returned to Rockford where he began work as a financial advisor. Paul immediately passed the Series 7, 63, and 65 registration exams (currently held with LPL Financial) along with the exams for Life and Health Insurance. After satisfying the education, examination, years of experience, and ethics requirements, Paul became a Certified Financial Planner™.
Paul is licensed with LPL Financial. Paul is also a Certified Financial Planner™ and satisfies the annual continuing education requirements to maintain that certification.
Paul is active in the community and church and currently serves on the board of First Love International Ministries. Paul’s wife, Elizabeth, currently educates their two daughters Aly and Emily. As a family, they enjoy engaging and experiencing different countries and cultures as part of their education.
Connor is a native of central IL and attended Northern Illinois University for his undergraduate degree, during which time he became Life and Health Insurance licensed. He currently holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses and is the owner of Weidner Financial. Connor specializes in retirement planning, estate planning and wealth management. Connor is a registered representative with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. In August of 2016, Connor married his wife, Ashton. Together, they enjoy being in the garden or pool at their home in rural Congerville, IL, as well as traveling, fishing, hiking, and spending time with their dog. Connor also volunteers on the board for the McLean County Golf Classic for St. Jude.
